When things were really locked down, we tried an experiment where we broadcast every element from everyone’s living room to private streaming youtube channels. I then mixed those channels from my living room and pushed them out of the main feed. It worked well enough. The hard part was the capture cards (Elgato HD60+) were pretty finicky and having to do tech support remote was really hard. Timing was also a bit tricky and we’d have 30-60 seconds for the transition. We did it for two Sundays. We could do it again if we had to. Really more interesting as a proof of concept than an actual practical way to do worship.
